Early Childhood Working Group
Redwood City Together co-convenes this important working group along with 4C’s of San Mateo County and with the City of Redwood City to collaborate and assists partners in efforts to reduce poverty, improve the academic success of all students, increase community engagement, promote health and wellness and enhance safety. Our intention is to serve every child of Redwood City and North Fair Oaks with the best of our ability so they can thrive.
Recent Milestones:
RWCT joined the Children’s Collective. This group is focused on creating a childcare blueprint plan that can be adopted by cities in the county to address childcare needs.
The working group has been paused until RWCT meets with the Children’s Collective leads to learn how RWCT can play a role in this plan.
Working on solidifying a date for the Spring Childcare Preview event.
