Our Goals

  • The NFOCCCS UndocuSupport Initiative will convene at least 10 times to further discuss how to accomplish its goals to better support the socioeconomically disadvantaged status population in the community for the year in partnership with task force members by June 2025. The collaborative will increase meeting cadence as needed to reflect the needs of the community.

  • The NFOCCCS UndocuSupport Initiative and the Promotores teams will support the number of community resource-sharing opportunities from 94 to 100 per year for the 2024-2025 FY to expand access to, diffuse fear and raise awareness of existing housing, food, medical, immigration, education and mental health services for socioeconomically disadvantaged families--including older aging adults, people with disabilities, and people who are unhoused--in the highest need areas within North Fair Oaks and Redwood City.

  • The NFOCCCS UndocuSupport Initiative will have at least 3 representatives plan and organize the Community All Stars event by June 2025 in collaboration with the Law Enforcement & Community Relations Initiative.

  • The NFOCCCS UndocuSupport Initiative will provide opportunities to socioeconomically disadvantaged families to improve the quality of life through holistic health programs, leadership development, community service, entrepreneurship, and educational programs in NFO/RWC by June 2025.

Attorney-led trainings for Promotores & on-the-ground outreach workers on the most up-to-date legal information and resources to share with community.

Community Care Night with an on-site bilingual therapist, over 10 community organizations sharing resources, and of course: food and community!

Previous Milestones

  • The initiative provided resource and information to over 6,436 community members through 85+ events this fiscal year. Events included UndocuAlly trainings, Know Your Rights workshops, and CARON Community Academies.

  • The initiative hosted a series of workshops aimed at alleviating anxieties that may arise as a result of the 2024 election year. Over 55 community members attended the series and learned about their rights, protections, and available services.

FY 22-23

  • The group convened 20 times this fiscal year to shape programming and stay up to date on the latest news affecting the community.

  • The group engaged in 60 outreach events, where they shared social services with community members.

  • We collaboratively hosted a 4-part financial literacy series which engaged over 45 community members.

  • We helped plan the Community All Stars event at the Redwood City Boys and Girls Club in partnership with the Law Enforcement and Community Relations Initiative.
