Youth Promotores Team
Redwood City Together partners with Friends For Youth to engage youth Promotores, ages 14 to 18, who are dedicated to uplifting their community. Through weekly outreach, tutoring with local nonprofits, administrative work, and professional development, they build the skills to become strong civic leaders. The Promotores program is built by youth, for youth, giving participants the platform and agency to shape how it runs. HERE!

Our Programming
Through Poderismo Chats, our youth Promotores brought families and students together to talk about college and what comes next. More than 100 people joined us across four workshops, and we continue to provide year-round workshops and support for youth in our community. We partner with all local community-based programs and high schools.
