Promotores Outreach Team

Redwood City Together employs 13 active youth Promotores ages 14-18 that help share information about social services, participate in professional development trainings, and team building activities.

Values

    • 10 youth ages 16-18

    • Promotores participated in 10+ development trainings focused on financial literacy, college workshops and more.

    • RWCT hosted two College-age promotor program graduate admin intern roles in FY24-25 to develop professional skills

    • Youth co-created programing to meet their needs focused on their long term development

    • Youth provided feedback on over 10 trainings to help increase engagement

    • Five thousand seven hundred twenty-six community members were connected to resources through 51 outreach events.

    • Promotores surveyed 600+ community members, asking for their input to improve the community

    • Youth help register 567 families for the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks Holiday Toy Drive

    • Over 150 families referred to Mariposa Program Pass
