World Café

The Welcoming Redwood City working group has hosted five World Café events so far, bringing neighbors together from across Redwood City and North Fair Oaks to build connections and engage in conversations that matter to the community.

Recent Milestones

  • In 2025, 95 attendees engaged in a community dialogue focused on celebrating and supporting immigrant communities. Inspiring stories from local residents and leaders were shared along with a powerful facilitated community dialogue.

  • Complementary dinner, childcare, interpretation services, and live entertainment have made World Café an exciting, inclusive, and much anticipated event each year.

  • Keynote speakers have ranged from members of City Council to youth from the Sequoia High School Dream Club to immigration lawyers and community members with powerful stories to share.
